When you hit the TAKE ACTION button you are acting on behalf of the whole country. Your vote for President, Senate, and Representative affects everyone in every other state. It is a strong responsibility. Please make an informed choice and a responsible decision on behalf of myself and all the other residents of our wonderful nation. YOU count as a vote. Pledge one vote for yourself and go vote. There is an old Jewish saying which is " a little and a little makes a full pot" Your vote will help to make a full pot and a country that we can all be proud of. THANK YOU!!!

ENSURE SAFE VOTING FOR ALL!

There are many people working hard to get out the message that elections must be honest.  No matter how one votes, the one thing to be sure of is that all votes count and that all votes will be counted.  Saddly there have been some things going on which are meant to block the rights of many of us to vote.  Following will be a few sites which can help.  Also be prepared when you go to vote.

1) If your state has early voting, vote early and make sure you have the proper id and that your vote is taken.  If possible bring your early vote in person and try not to mail it.  How to find out about voting regulations and early voting in your state: http://www.earlyvoting.net/states/abslaws.php

2) If they are trying to give you a provisional ballot do not take it.  Find out what the problem is and come back with the correct information to get a regular ballot.

3) If you have a problem call Election Protection at 1-866-our-vote or visit the website to get information http://www.866ourvote.org/

4) Volunteer to work at your local polls or to be a poll watcher.  If you have the time call or visit the website of the candidate of your choice and ask which state might need help.  Call your local registrar or political party to ask how you can help.  http://act.credoaction.com/pollworkers/faq.html

5) If you are a poll watcher and have a video camera video anything that might seem or be irregular.

6) A comic to share with others about voter suppression and other information about what is happening with eliminating voters: http://www.gregpalast.com/

7) DO NOT WEAR a tee shirt, jacket or button supporting a candidate or party when you go to vote.  You will not be allowed to vote as it will be considered campaigning and campaigning needs to be a certain distance from the polls.
